Pink cadillac...with crushed velvet seats

As usual in this neighborhood the 4th is celebrated on the 3rd with a huge fireworks display below the lookout point. I spent it across the street (correct side) at Jackie and Jim's neighborhood BBQ. Such excellent hosts. We all brought something to share. My contribution was hummus with star-shaped crackers and a berry pie. The little kids had glow sticks & flashing lights & shouted for the fireworks to begin. I sat on the rim with Bonnie & Don and thoroughly enjoyed the festivities.

Today we purchased a replacement PT Cruiser (gold) to replace Mom's car that was totaled over a week ago. Whew! TB and I had a long looping walk & ran into Maryann & Taffy in the park.
