Grocery bags

It's embarrassing to go food shopping anymore without your own personal grocery bags. My favorites are Trader Joe's oilcloth Hawaiian print bags. They stand up nicely on the counter, checkout area, and in the trunk of a car. The ones from Ralphs and WalMart are slouchy and like to lie down on the job. I notice that they are much harder to fill. I keep an assortment in my trunk but frequently forget to retrieve them before entering the store. I am often too busy trying to remember to recycle plastic bags to remember to take out the reusable ones. Vicious cycle, eh?
