Dogs shouldn't eat chocolate!

OK ... Teaberry found a grocery bag with 3 foil wrapped dark chocolate Bliss chocolates inside. I noticed something was amiss when I found bits of foil and chewed plastic bag on the floor. Knew there had been only 3 candies inside BUT spent a frantic 45 minutes online figuring out what to do. After converting grams to ounces realized that he was not in immediate danger. He ingested .77 ounces when it takes one ounce per 3 pound of the dogs' weight for it to be toxic. STILL! Fed him burnt toast with a light coating of peanut butter. Still concerned about the foil and plastic. Will have to wait and see how it all comes out. on our walk this morning he found, of all things, a half full bag of peanut m&ms someone had dropped at the park.
